Health insurance in Fort Lauderdale, FL
I work with Fort Lauderdale clients across Broward County: realtors, marine and hospitality workers, small business owners, and families. I compare Obamacare and private plans side by side, apply every subsidy you qualify for, and stay your broker at renewal.
Who I help in Fort Lauderdale
- Realtors and other commission-based professionals.
- Hospitality, marine and seasonal workers whose hours and income change during the year.
- Small business owners in Broward.
- Families who want to keep their doctors at the Broward hospital systems they already use.
What matters most for Fort Lauderdale plans
In Broward, the hospital system is the first thing to check. Broward Health and Memorial Healthcare System aren't in every plan, so a cheaper premium can mean a different hospital. I check yours first.
- Marketplace (Obamacare) plans with every tax credit and cost-sharing discount you qualify for applied.
- Private plans sold outside the Marketplace, which can cost less for healthy people above the subsidy limit. They're medically underwritten and aren't ACA plans, so we read the details together.
- Your doctors, hospitals and prescriptions checked in every plan before you enroll.
Fort Lauderdale health insurance questions
Do I need to live in Miami to work with you?
No. I work with clients across Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach by phone, text or video, and I'm licensed in more than 30 states.
When can I enroll for 2027?
Open Enrollment runs November 1, 2026 to January 15, 2027. Choose a plan by December 15 for coverage that starts January 1. Outside that window you need a qualifying life event; Medicaid and Florida KidCare accept applications all year.
Does it cost more to use a broker?
No. Brokers are paid by the insurance carrier, and your premium is the same whether you enroll with me, on HealthCare.gov or directly with the carrier. The consultation and quotes are free.
